This month's SUPER FULL MOON TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE falls in the Fire sign of Sagittarius at 5 degrees 26' May 26, 2021 @ 4:14 AM MST/7:14 AM EDT.

And so begins the eclipse season for 2021! As you know, the movement of the heavenly planets creates cycles upon cycles. Eclipse season is one of those cycles. There can be two lunar and two solar eclipses in a year or up to as many as seven; it simply depends on when the first occurs. A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon is Full, and this TOTAL lunar eclipse in Sagittarius will illuminate our inner beliefs, philosophy, and faith (or wavering thereof). It may remind us just how much we missed traveling and journeying about freely. It could also shine a light on where our understanding needs to change to make room for updated wisdom. With the new CDC guidelines in the US, we joyfully welcome our freedom and independence back after a long time.
This Super Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse is strong in mutable energy. Mutable energy goes with the flow and does whatever is needed. It can start, stay, or change. It can transform things and move them along; it is resourceful, flexible energy. Perhaps this time is signaling a need to be more adaptive, agreeable, and productive, see all sides to things easily, or learn new things readily? Moving forward (Sagittarius), what do we let go that no longer serves? Pull it out from the shadows and bring it fully into the light!

Jupiter moved into Pisces on May 14th, where it will stay for a few months, offering us a preview of the energy that is gifted us by Jupiter in 2022. Jupiter is pleased in Pisces; it was the traditional ruler of the sign before the discovery of Neptune, so it is comfortable there. Pisces is a loving, compassionate, and easy sign. Jupiter is a beneficent (gifting) planet and represents joy, abundance, expansion, and wisdom. So, buckle up; it's time to lighten up and ease up! It's time to let go of the things that stood in the way of our freedom, independence, joy, and ease. It is about time! YAY!
However, it is essential to remember the bigger picture still has a couple of heavy hitters in the line-up. Precisely, Aquarius Saturn squares Taurus Uranus still. We have discussed this energy for some time now, and it is still strong and demands our attention. The most straightforward and benevolent use of ALL these energies would be to 1. value the coronavirus' status change here in the States, 2. respect individuals as members of society, and 3. respectfully but joyfully celebrate. Jupiter in Pisces reminds us we are all part of the greater good; whether we got vaccinated or have natural immunity is irrelevant to the joy we all share!
Another caution at this time is the potential abundance of falsehoods or lies. Pisces can be elusive and, at times, deceptive. Jupiter may exaggerate that possibility. Additionally, Gemini energy, ruled by Mercury the Trickster, can create obfuscation. Know your own beliefs BEFORE you accept others’ as truth. Sagittarius seeks the truth with a capital "T." Beware of dogmas that encourage you to be less than loving; as a general rule of thumb, they are just big ol' fat lies. Sagittarius rules fanaticism, so the light of this Full Moon will shine on disingenuous “spiritual” beliefs.
Release those feelings based on untruths that stand in the way of your wisdom at this Sagittarius Super Full Moon. Release the exaggerations and stories that you tell yourself that keep you from fully experiencing JOY. If it keeps you stuck or angry, let it go; make room for Joy. Listen for guidance from the Universe and allow it to uncover the lies you tell yourself that keep you from communion with the Divine. Shine this FULL MOON's light onto those falsehoods which keep you from joining the celebration that is LIFE, humanly Divine, and perfectly flawed!
There may be some difficulty finding your JOY this Full Moon, but the Universe supports you in so doing, and the reward is great. This eclipse cycle offers you the opportunity to unfold and remove what stands in your way over the next six months. Use this energy to open up to a more compassionate and delightful you in 2022.
