Let go of what you can’t control.

The Full Moon in Capricorn will be strong in Earth, making it easier to feel grounded and hold your ground responsibly, authoritatively; however, those things that stand in the way of softening to life need to be released. Let go of any obstacles that litter your path, of anything keeping you from being the nurturing and caring Soul you are, that tender parent you want to be for those in your life, including yourself. Let go of anything that keeps you from nourishing your creations, your babies. Honor your Mother and your Father, AKA, your masculine AND feminine sides! Allow the Earth of Capricorn to yield to the Water of Cancer, softening its hold, dissolving it, and carrying it away for easy removal. Trust your intuition to find the balance between emotional stoicism and fully opened raging floodgates, so you act in an emotionally responsible way that serves your highest good.

At the Full Moon, the Sun and Moon are in opposition, requiring balance. The Sun in Cancer is the astrological sign of Mother energy, ruled by the Moon. Interestingly, the Moon in Capricorn is the astrological sign of Father energy, ruled by Saturn. Parenting issues, issues between emotions flowing versus being contained or restricted, our feminine opposing our masculine, and the contrast between softness and hardness are all possible ways this Full Moon can express itself. What is it that you need to release to find a functional balance between your inner masculine/feminine? Look for it to be illuminated for you this Full Moon cycle.

There is yet another T-square aspect to navigate this month’s Full Moon. The T-square focuses on Taurus Uranus, which has done its best to jackhammer those stuck places that need removing from our psyche, especially in the values and belief systems. What fixed ideas do you have about money, resources, material possessions, and the temple of your body that you need to relinquish? Where is the Divine Matriarchy in your belief system? Does it exist at all? Full Moon is an excellent time to begin the release of outdated beliefs, emotional anchors. It is best to work with transits rather than struggle against them, so go ahead and release any antiquated rules that keep you from working with the changes destined to unfold.

Look deep into your emotional psyche to find your hidden motivations and the answer to meeting this Full Moon challenge. Then, use the wise discernment of Aquarius Saturn and the courageous action of Leo Mars to bring light to your actual values at this Full Moon and take responsible action, aligning what you say and what you do so they are congruent. Doing the work that brings more light and exposes capital “T” truth is a great way to use the energy of this time. Shining light on what keeps us stuck is ideal for breaking free from that which no longer serves. Freeing ourselves from the ties that bind is the way we move forward and grow. Mars opposite Saturn can feel like a tug of war to getting things done, but it can also conserve effort. Saturn will move forward in measured, precise, well-calculated steps versus emotionally rushing into selfish action. Leo Mars wants action that satisfies its most heartfelt desires; it does not like being constrained while attempting to make those desires a reality. Assuring both energies are acknowledged and utilized requires balance! Balancing the two, cautious restraint and courageous action, will bring about the necessary change.

There is still some confusion in the air with Gemini Mercury square Pisces Neptune. It is possible to see the value in both masculine energy that moves us forward in an active, purposeful way and feminine energy that holds us present in a nurturing, intentional way; both meet our needs, and both are needed. At the time of the opposition, balance is key. Instead of pitting one method against the other, perhaps finding a third way is in order? Perhaps either/or can yield to and/both, resulting in a sacred marriage. What do we need to know about the Divine Feminine presently that we are refusing to see? Soften and release rigidity to find the answer. Soften the restrictions of the patriarchy to witness and engage the cosmic Maternal. Transformation requires we view the Divine Feminine honorably, not judgmentally. What will the light reveal about how you view the Feminine? How do you relate to your real-life Mother? Your internal woman? Or the Cosmic Matriarch? Illumination at the Full Moon shines a light on what we need to see. This Full Moon is the opportunity to see where “Mother” fits into your belief system.

As FULL MOONS are a time for releasing that which no longer serves, removing the rules and restrictions that keep us from valuing our Divine Mother is a great place to start. Letting go of the constraints we place on our feelings/emotions is a good follow-up. Balancing our internal Mother/Father energies is the ultimate goal!
