Easy…easy…easy…balance…balance…balance. BREATHE. Now, release.

When you were a little kid, did you ever play on a teeter-totter by yourself? Two ways to do it were 1. Sit on one end, spring your legs up and down, and teeter with your imaginary air partner; or, 2. Stand up in the middle of the totter, rocking back and forth to make it go up and down by yourself. Eventually, you figured out that if you wanted to get off the teeter-totter, you had to stop rocking back and forth, steady the board by standing still in the middle, then jump off or abandon your imaginary partner and walk away. Well, this month's FULL MOON in Aquarius is much like balancing on that childhood teeter-totter! Do you want to stay stuck in the up and down against an imaginary mate? Or, do you want to find the balancing point and get off the crazy train?

This Full Moon in Aquarius will be strong in FIXED energy, meaning we are working on releasing stuck stuff. Aquarius is the sign of ideas and radical thoughts, so letting go of stubborn, stuck ideas that no longer serve or simply serve our ego is very much in order. Also up for inspection is the idea of taking actions that meet only our desires versus actions that benefit the greater many. This Full Moon is an excellent time to explore your deeper motivations and determine if the intention underlying your actions is valid. Or, are your actions prompted by darker feelings that need to be brought into the light and released?

While the Saturn/Uranus square of 2021 is still in play, it does not feel as emotional currently, not quite like last month. Instead, it requires us to step back a moment from the watery interpretation of our world and view it with a more detached lens to get a more practically profound perspective. We are still asked to find our individuality with the larger society we share. How do we express our unique selves while belonging to the crowd? Or, where do we remove ourselves from the group and step more fully into our individual ideas?

Full Moons usually require us to find the balance between our masculine and feminine selves, to integrate them, and find the sweet spot of harmony, much like finding the balancing point on that teeter-totter from childhood. This Aquarius Full Moon asks us to find the harmonious center between our self-interests and humanity's collective interests through the Sun/Moon opposition and the Virgo Venus/Leo Mars conjunction (feminine/masculine) opposite Jupiter in Pisces (a larger picture). There is a loud and clear message to find the balance between our masculine/feminine and individual/societal selves. How do we manage a better balance between our hearts and our minds? Is what we want and how we are going after it bringing us unconditional joy? A change in our fixed ideas about all these pieces can bring about a sizeable shift in perception and transform us to move forward. After all, Uranus does want us to evolve. Saturn simply reminds us we must do it responsibly!

AS FULL MOONS are for releasing, pry loose those radical ideas that sacrifice your heart for your head, that make you choose the group over what you know in your heart to be Truth. Perceiving through the eyes of compassion transforms erroneous ideas more palatably. Soul growth, while often painful, is beneficial for all of us in the end.
